Para madaling basahin… point form nalang:

  • PERFECT ROUTE…  it had the right mix of HILLS and FLATS, enough to be a challenge, but not too much for it to be considered a CRAZY race.
  • It was WELL ORGANIZED.. which is a given since it’s managed by Coach Rio.
  • I don’t know how to drink water off a plastic bag
  • IT’S FREE, and I love the FINISHER BRACELET (and the packaging that came with it).
  • I GOT CHICKED! (term used by the Bull Runner and DATC)… some girl whooped my ASS and overtook me 10 meters to the finish line.  (I think she placed third)
  • I SAID HI to the Bull Runner for the first time 🙂
  • NO PR for me in this race, but I think that it’s one of the best 10K races that i’ve ever participated in.

I agree! Great race. It’s okay if you don’t know what to do with that plastic bag. I don’t know how one can munch on ensaymada while running.

Hey it was nice meeting you. Maybe in the future we’ll both have more energy to chat hahaha.

It was my first ever 10K run and it was all fun! Galing ng organizers. Everything went out well.

Congrats! 🙂

I used to drink “ice water” from cellophanes when I was a kid. Just bite off one corner and sip through the hole while pressing. It’s like a big power gel!

hey runmd.. that’s what i did, but i think i bit it in the middle instead of the corner.. hehehe

Harry, just saw your result from Jaymie’s blog. Astig ah, 2nd place. Run was the fastest, mga 4:06 min/km pace yun. Swim na lang. Enroll ka na kay Nonoy ng Total Immersion.

Mukhang Guilty, congrats on a good 10K. I was surfing the blogosphere for Pinoy running and came across your blog. There is a surprising lack of Filipino runners here in New York City (Manhattan). But I’m very happy about how much the sport has really grown in RP since I left in 1982. Run on!

By the way, I’m a friend and former schoolmate of Greg Banzon, who organized the Animo Tri.
